Harajuku Adventures: Kawaii Monster Cafe

I was afraid that it would be scary but then I remembered it was in Harajuku and I knew it would be cuteness overload instead.

I was never a big horror fan, sure I spend some nights challenging myself into watching Horror movies but I am not kidding when I say that I’ll be spending a couple of sleepless nights afterwards. As a kid I always imagined monster underneath my bed and creepy stuffs crawling on the floor. Sometimes my teddy bears even transforms when all the lights were out but in Harajuku I met a different kind of monster, I thought to myself that if I were able to meet them earlier at life I might’ve found it easier to sleep at night.

Kawaii Monster Cafe’s Menu

The menu of the cafe features food which looks like they’re straight out of an anime film, they’ve got burgers that look like little monsters, milk shakes that taste like pop corns and cocktails that comes in tubes which looks like laboratory equipments. They have a Hello Kitty Special collaboration this month until September and you can order them from the menu.

The Kawaii Monster Cafe Show

This was the highlight of our stay inside the cafe, I took pictures and videos but it cant compare to the feeling of actually being there and watching the performance,  it’s positive overwhelming and if you love cute things and outfits this one’s really for you. What made it more perfect was the attitude of their “Monster Girls”, they were kind, warm and accommodating towards the kids and the customers.
